Pediatric Stroke Survivor Plays Violin for Hospital Fundraiser

Nine months ago, we sent one our first ever black EaZyHolds to Tiana, 12 year old pediatric stroke survivor and violinist. Now, she is using it to play violin in a televised performance of “I See the Light” for 2025 Good Friday, a fundraiser for the Royal Children’s Hospital. Watch her performance with Evangeline Victoria below:
Since a stroke at age 10 that left her left side paralyzed, Tiana has had to relearn how to do most things. During her recovery, Tiana used an aqua EaZyHold to help hold her bow with her affected side, and relearn to play violin.
After joining the Melbourne Youth Orchestra, she needed something low-profile and professional looking to go with her concert outfits. Her father, Vincent, reached out to see if we made EaZyHold in black. Our CEO, Kerry Mellin, responded by sending her a custom molded black EaZyHold, just months before launching all of our sizes in black and silver.

We are so proud of the incredible hard work that Tiana has put in to get to where she’s at now. Her performance is beautiful, and she’s supporting a good cause while doing it. We should all strive to be more like Tiana!
